The FMS Organization
The Fluorescent Mineral Society was founded in 1971, incorporated in 1993. We are growing with over 500 members representing 47 US states and 20 countries - a truly international organization.
Members enjoy a variety of benefits, receive publications, interact by email, attend regional special interest workshops, and participate in the annual meeting of the society at Tucson. Local activities are coordinated by regional vice presidents in Canada, Europe, South Africa, and ten areas within the USA.
Our members include professional mineralogists, gemologists, amateur collectors, and others who study and collect fluorescent minerals. All interested parties are welcome to join our society.
